如今人人愛喝紅酒，陳女兒紅選擇多多。一般列級的法國波爾多紅就可以應付了。但是陳一罈五十年的狀元紅。會不會要買上五公升、九公升、15公升等等巨無霸又或者是頂級的義大利巴羅洛才可以陳上五十年？那成本可不得了！
要以最經濟的價錢陳五十年的狀元紅，我想意大利皮埃蒙特省的核多多葡萄會是最划算的選擇。

Bridal Red VS Champion Red
In ancient China, parents like to bury a pot of wine whenever they have new born so that they can celebrate when a girl get marry and when a boy wins the championship of the Imperial Examination. This type of wine is called Bridal Red for girl and Champion Red for boy.
Bridal Red is common as girls get marry at around 13 to 14. However Champion Red is super rare as the competition of the Imperial Exam is super keen .Many candidates passed the exam when they were at they fifties.
Nowadays all Chinese love red wine. It is easy to choose Bridal Red because a Grand Cru Bordeaux is good enough . However, one might need a very large format red for a Champion Red. The cost will then be very very high.
My personal choice for a best value for money Champion Red will be Grignolino from Piedmonte.
Grignolino literally means a lot of pits. Like its folk Ruche, it was once close to extinction. People with passion conserved it. You can imagine this wine is with lots of tannins. If you like old, traditional style Burgundies, Grignolino is definitely your glass of wine. When it is young, it is light bodied, weak and not very chewy. However, its cellaring potential is stunningly huge, and the development is very promising. It can be aged for commonly 20 to 30 years. Their floral notes are spectacular and awesome. You must be patient and wait for the fruity notes to develop. If you want to enjoy it when it is young, you have to open it early and let it breathe for at least 6 hours. Who can compete with Grignolino for just three hundred something bugs for 50 years of cellaring potential, plus the old fashion Burgundian style of “iron fist in a velvet glove “ ?
