Vanishing Grapes at Olympic 

You may not know that the country that produces the most wine is not France, but Italy. There are more than 2,000 grape varieties commonly used in Italy, which is so vast and intriguing. Among them, Piedmont is the most famous region because Barolo and Barbaresco, known as the King and Queen of Wine, come from this region.

In the lime light of the king of wines and the queen of wines, Montalbera Winery’s passion for preserving rare grape varieties cannot be hindered. They work tirelessly and carefully cultivate three little-known grapes, including Timorasso, Ruche and Grignolino, which were once on the verge of extinction; the wines they produce have won numerous awards.
