The farm Montalbera born in the early twentieth century in a territory between the towns of Grana, Castagnole Monferrato and Montemagno. In the mid-eighties, the Morando family, adopting a policy of expansion not yet completed, with the acquisition of adjoining land and direct planting of new vineyards, mainly Ruche. Ruche is once close to extinction. Local decided to revitalize this indigenous grape and the appellation was up graded to D.O.C.G in 2010. Sparkling wine obtained by soft pressing of black grapes, according to the strict dictates of the Classic Method. Long aging on the lees in controlled temperature environment. Degorgement after 10 years of maturation, using only wine from the same cuvée.
Straw yellow with golden reflections. Fine, persistent and balanced bouquet with hints of toasted hazelnuts and bread crust.
Complex, creamy, intense and elegant with a pleasant acidity, followed by a persistent sapidity.
