After our Dragon Boat Festival, the Mid Autumn Festival is around the corner. No matter where you are, such important day for reunion will not be neglected.
Moon Cake is indeed a very romantic dessert. Round salted egg yolk in the middle of lotus seed puree figuratively remind us of silverly bright moon in the Autumn night sky.
City people are scared of sweetness, especially Honkies. To them dessert with low sugar is perfect. In fact, with a cup of fine tea, the unctuousness and grease of the moon cake will slide down your throat unnoticeably. The pairing makes tea smoother and lotus puree lighter.
