比起波爾多, 瑪雷瑪的美樂珠除了有基本的黑車厘子味，她還帶有甜香料及巨峰提子般的香氣。酒體更為霸道、濃郁 、耐人尋味。只要見到是來自瑪雷瑪區的美樂珠一定不會便宜。鼎鼎大名的有瑪莎圖，新年份也要近萬了！

Drink Better during the Mid-Autumn Festival

Merlot is a Bordeaux grape variety that is very popular among drinkers. It is because of its red cherry flavour; it is easy to understand and delicious. 

If you ask which is the most famous Merlot in the world, I think nine out of ten wine connoisseurs will immediately answer Chateau Petrus in the Pomerol district of Bordeaux without even thinking . But if you ask which is the most delicious Merlot grape in the world? Many drinkers may not know that it is the Merlot of Maremma in Tuscany, Italy. This is unanimously recognized by world-class winemakers. 

Compared with Bordeaux, Maremma's Merlot not only has the basic black cherry flavour, but also has sweet spice and Kyoho grape-like aromas. The wine body is more domineering, rich and intriguing. As long as you see Merlot from the Maremma area, it will definitely not be cheap. The famous one is Masseto, which will reach nearly HKD 10,000  for the young vintage! 

To save money, try the Merlot from Petrolo Galatrona; it has black truffle, violet, and chocolate-like aromas. Rich in connotation, the wine is full-bodied, chewy, and atmospheric, with a long aftertaste. Very good value for money.
